SGS Equipment Services offer an extensive range of hydraulic attachments to suit all requirements. We offer an incredibly comprehensive service and have managed to remove the problems that often arise with hire by understanding the customer's needs and their machines and by ensuring that the equipment is correctly installed on delivery. We also keep detailed records of each customers machine installation details for future hires, giving plant operators complete peace of mind. Most of our attachments are suitable for use with quick hitches and quick release hose couplings, to reduce the time for adding and removing the attachments on site. Our vehicles are fully equipped with couplings, hoses and flow and pressure testing equipment.

Whenever the job allows, on delivery we will install the attachments and ensure that they are working to their optimum performance. This can include flow and pressure testing and setting up the excavator computers if necessary. This is one of our specialities that we pride ourselves in to ensure that problems are eliminated throughout the hire period. This service is usually included in the delivery price.

Hydraulic breakers
We have an extensive range of excavator mounted Hydraulic breakers for hire ranging from 0.5 to 40 tonne carrier weight including silenced breakers for city work and we have the most efficient and up to date equipment available. The majority of our hire breakers have a dual shock absorber system that reduces vibration through to your excavators, with slim line case designs, lower weight, minimum oil requirements and automatic variance on speed and power.

Augers
Our hire fleet consist of Augers from one of the world's leading Auger Manufacturers that can operate at varying widths and depths to suit the customer's requests and varied ground conditions. Our Augers give ultimate performance and cost effectiveness for excavators from 750Kg up to 30 tonne with the largest range available with a power output from 1000 nm to 60,000 nm and drill sizes from 100mm to 1.5m diameter and drill lengths from 1.2 metres upwards. These units are easy to fit and can be used with most types of quick hitch.

Compactor plates
Compactor plates are available to suit a wide range of carriers and can be used with standard breaker pipes and are extremely easy to fit and compatible to most excavator quick hitches. Excavator mounted compactors eliminate the risk of manual trench compaction and are very efficient on difficult gradients. Compactor plates can also be used as effective low cost drivers of posts, beams, sheet piles etc. We have them available in various plate widths to suit your requirements.

Piling hammers
We have excavator mounted vibro piling hammers for hire for 7 tonne excavators and upwards. These are ideal for driving and extracting sheet piles, beams etc.

Clamshell buckets
Perfect for confined spaces, digging shafts etc. We hire clamshell buckets suitable for 13 tonne excavators and upwards.

Additional attachments
We also hire auger driven stump planers, post drivers for varying post diameters and square and circular pile croppers.
